Collagen comes from the different parts of animals. It is more typically extracted from their bones and hide. Our Multi Collagen Protein is sourced from Bovine (cows), Chicken & Fish (Tilapia).
Our ancestors would consume broths made from the bones of these animals on almost a daily basis. Unfortunately times have changed. In our fast paced society it’s rare that people take the time to make a proper broth/stew/soup.
It is also important to understand that meat such as steak, chicken breast, fish fillets, etc. DO NOT contain collagen. While these are healthy to eat, they don’t contain collagen. It is essential for anyone over the age of 25 to be consuming collagen on a daily basis.
